Steps to Take

General Steps

  1. Take your own reusable bags wherever you go.
  2. Bring your own leftover containers to restaurants.
  3. Bring your reusable coffee cup to your local coffee shop to fill.
  4. Encourage the use of compostable and recyclable takeout containers in restaurants.
  5. Find plastic free alternatives when you buy fruit and veggies.
  6. Refuse plastic straws and BYO reusable alternatives.
  7. BYO reusable water bottles.
  8. Plan ahead and avoid pre-packaged bread, rolls and baked goods.
  9. Avoid pre-packaged foods by choosing bulk or loose food.
  10. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for a better planet.
